Haven't updated my lj in quite a while - one year, to be exact. I wonder what it might mean that I return now and not earlier (or later). Perhaps the silence I keep on tumblr is getting to me, but even here, I feel at a loss for words. I shall try regardless:

• went to job interview, got a test day this saturday. pay is 1300ISK per hour. hm. :/ i really need to quickly learn that damn language or else i will be no good BUT for cleaning.

• went to the unnecessary orientation meeting for international students
• handed in my passport photo for the creditcard to my account at the Landsbanki
• met up with fellas from VMN/MIS programme (lotsa Americans, woah)
• got hella drenched by rain - I was dripping wet by the time I reached the Árnagarður building.

I applied for student housing in downtown (í miðbæ) Reykjavík. One room is 12m² for 42,000 ISK, the other is a shared apartment with a bigger kitchen and inbuilt bathroom for 49,000 ISK. So, salty_catfish and I are touring through Scotland. And somehow, like the last time I went abroad, it turned into a Viking Research Trip (The Pictish Trail, it's a trap!).
