i crawled back home

I fell down the stairs at the University building today. Did a nice sommersault, but a good looking man helped me up again, unfortunately he left rather quickly (WAS I NOT PRETTY AND VULNERABLE ENOUGH?!)

After creeping at a very slow space around the neighborhood in search of a orthopaedist, I called my father and he drove me to the Charité's first aid post (I love my father, he is the best of the best of the fucking best ;_;) for inspection - where it was suprisingly empty. They touched the inured foot, and turned and twisted it and I now hold a radiogramm of my ankle in my hand. Eeeh c:
So: Strained ankle (left) and I think my knee (right) is a bit fucked up too, cuz... you know. It hurts when I try to walk hahaaa. I also was handed crutches to keep me mobile, unfortunately they are super useless because I cannot handle them. Still, it's a nice workout for the arms, I guess?

Yeah, that's basically it.

Atm I am applying for Iceland and Norway, lets see if they'll accept me for the coming winter semester. If so, that'd be awesome (which basically means I'll have to prepare and organise papers and all that a move to another country requires. I just hope they don't have too strong restrictions in Iceland concerning student work. Hoshiii- BUT! I'll visit the ambassady next week and ask around there. They should know) andddd.... the plan after that? Yeah, after ze Viking MA, I'll send in my application for Viking & Anglo-Saxon Studies or Old English Studies to the Nottingham University. Maybe I'll be even granted funding from the DAAD by then. That'd be rad.

I feel all pumped about these things after reading Tolkien's biography. (I want to see The Hobbit soooo bad aaarrrrhhh)

The overall goal? I'll hopefully be qualified enough to work at a Historical Scotland sight. In Orkney. *___* Hach, a girl can dream.
