[On the edge of the fountain in the village center sits Platinum the little mermaid, tail included. She's singing very badly and very loudly. In her hand is a fork, she knows it's for eating with, but today she believes it's a hair comb.]

[And Kazuma was just hoping his day would stay uneventful. Instead, he comes across the badly singing mermaid as he was leaving from the library.

Maybe if he keeps walking she won't notice--...wait, why is she using the fork like a brush? That's not even-]

Luna is getting down on Friday! It's fun, fun, fun, fun! Even though it's actually Sunday, but that's a technicality.

[Hello forlorn-looking frog who at least looks realistic. There is a man sitting in a really crappy frog costume next to you. Nothing personal but he's looking at you grumpily.] So, have you always been a - ribbit [Gah! Let him clear his throat real quick.] frog, or is this new to you too?

[Vash isn't sure what's worse. You actually at least ARE a frog and aren't in a really stupid looking costume, but... you're a frog.]

It's new. [Irvine peers at Vash in his costume.] Dude, you're not a frog.

I know that. [He flicks annoyingly at the eye of his costume.] I guess I'm uh... lucky on that fact. [Although he only feels lucky sitting next to you.]

All week

[Any day this week, you can find Don walking around the village. He may just be walking. He may be carrying something. Or he may be in the midst of some other task. You see, while Don is always a very helpful and considerate guy, this week he feels a strange compulsion to do anything that anyone asks him to do. In the first few days he'll resist the impulse and refuse to do silly or morally questionable things, but as the week goes on it just seems to get harder for him to say no.]

[Karai feels there is some horrible experiment afoot. She should go out and investigate and gather information to report to her evil stepfather, but she can't find any of her clothes. And she doesn't want to go out in the simple, soot-stained shift that she's wearing.

Well, she's a ninja. She can avoid being seen!

...but sadly her apartment is dirty, so she'll have to make sure all her chores are done first. You can find her scrubbing the bathroom floor and singing to a very confused Chaplin. :| It's the most affection the kitten's got from her in weeks.]

[Saki does what any good Fairy Godparent does: Walk through the door. He enters what he knows is Karai's apartment, and is immediately appalled by its condition. He opens his mouth to chastise her for this filth, and to maybe say something about her terrible singing, but his words seem to change as they are spoken.]

Good day child, what miracle may I bestow upon you today?

[He holds up his wand and is prepared to grant her wish. Except he'd much rather not.]
