[On the edge of the fountain in the village center sits Platinum the little mermaid, tail included. She's singing very badly and very loudly. In her hand is a fork, she knows it's for eating with, but today she believes it's a hair comb.]

[And Kazuma was just hoping his day would stay uneventful. Instead, he comes across the badly singing mermaid as he was leaving from the library.

Maybe if he keeps walking she won't notice--...wait, why is she using the fork like a brush? That's not even-]

What are you doing...?

Luna is getting down on Friday! It's fun, fun, fun, fun! Even though it's actually Sunday, but that's a technicality.

Then why aren't you saying Sunday instead...? And you know you're using that fork improperly right?

Because Luna can't exactly sing 'under the sea' while she's sitting on a fountain! Does this look like it's underwater to you? No it isn't! It's LAND. Luna is supposed to be in the ocean like the beautiful mermaid she is! All she has is this shitty little fountain! Oh the tragedy, oh the drama, oh the heartbreak of a beautiful mermaid who longs for the ocean, but does not have the legs to walk over to the teleporter that takes people to the beach.

Well... [She pauses, thinking hard.] Luna kinda dragged herself here with her arms. It took her four hours but the river is crap! Nobody could see my beauty in the river! At least at the fountain everyone can see how gorgeous Luna is!

You dragged yourself here all the way from the river!? Just so you can have people look at you?

No! Luna dragged herself all the way from community building seven to the fountain! Get it right, stupid.

...T-That makes even less sense! Why would you be there and not in a body of water? You didn't even mention any building the first time.

I said I didn't want to go to the river! So Luna came to the fountain! Geez, are you thick or something? Any brains working up there? Hellooooo? Luna to whatever-your-name-is! Wakey wakey, you gotta get fresh, gotta go downstairs!
