Kind of last minute we decided to head out to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. No campsite reservations. No real plan... just go. That's right, folks, I actually went on a journey without much of a plan! How unlike me ( Read more... )

This year was less about accomplishing a massive "to do" list
While my little overly-obsessive-organized self may be upset by this realization,
It was more about finding me
What I want
What I love
What drives me
Overcoming aloneness
Overcoming crushing loss and oppressive grief
( Discovering happiness and joy in the everyday )

Hallelujah! Made it to Gallup and the sun is still up! If I play my cards right I should make Springdale well before sunset!

It's only 6pm an I actually considered continuing on, but once I hit the Navajo Nation there won't be a decent rest stop for miles to come... So I stay here in Gallup.

Speaking of Albuquerque, I flew thru there about 2 hours ago and am only an hour outside of Gallup

I wonder what there is to see and do there... Hhmmmmm
