Zaphod has begun his Forever Nap. The best kitty and friend that I could hope for, I miss him terribly.

My AC croaked today, so I moved my kittehs and myself into a hotel. My poor lads were suffering at 88 degrees in my apartment by the time I found a place with room that would accept my cats. My friend Jim's mother passed away today, after a long battle with liver cancer.
Linda was a spunky, tough, intelligent woman, and she'll be greatly missed.

I was reduced to a wibbling mass today. There was a dead cat near the stairs at work today, right next to where I parked my van. I'd never seen it before, but I was so sad when I saw it. Poor little thing, just lying there as if it had been thrown aside.

If I'm petting and spoiling my own kitties extra tonight, you now know why.
