I might be overly critical since I wasn't too happy with the first episode and I've seen three adaptations of story, two of those being my overall favorite wuxia series. Still, there are some things about this series that just keeps bothering me.

I've raved about the cast of Zhang Ji Zhong's production of Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber before and how some of the actors are just perfect for their roles. This morning I checked out the thread at SPCnet.tv and was surprised to see Liu Shi Shi cast as The Yellow Robed Laby. The Yellow Robed Lady is a minor role but it's another perfect choice ( Read more... )

NaNoWriMo has been going well. I'm slowing down on my writing though. I've been writing so obsessively since I started and now I feel like I need to do something else other than write every time I have a minute to spare. Still, it's coming along nicely. New username, new layout. I realized after a while that I had switched to a layout from the same creator and with the same color. Oh well, at least it's pretty.

I'm watching Fairy of the Chalice right now and I'm really not impressed by it. I will finish watching it only because I hate not finishing Asian dramas because they usually have a limited ( Read more... )
