I've had a lot of time off the past few days so I've been indulging in what I call "nerd days". Nerd days means that I can play as much video/computer games, read comics, watch movies as I like. I have one chapter left until I've finished my NaNoWriMo 2008 novel. I have three, fresh paper cuts on my middle finger.

I will finish this novel tonight!

NaNoWriMo has been going well. I'm slowing down on my writing though. I've been writing so obsessively since I started and now I feel like I need to do something else other than write every time I have a minute to spare. Still, it's coming along nicely. NaNoWriMo started three days ago and I was one of those crazy people who started at 00:01. Writing went well on Saturday but I had plans for the evening thus couldn't keep on writing. It was a tough choice between staying at home and going out but I did realize that I need some kind of social life during November and not stay cooped up in my room ( Read more... )

So writing is going well. Not the book that I was planning on writing but a fanfiction that I had not worked on in months. I didn't even get stuck or run out of inspiration like I usually do, it's just that I forgot about writing the story. Anyway I'm glad that I'm writing again. I didn't go to bed until early this morning because I had stayed up trying to finish my book (earlier part of the evening was spent with Pontus and Jonas eating pizza and watching Die Hard). ...I have written a book (100 363 words).

Now there's still a bunch of editting to do, scenes that I need to put in and flesh out for the book to be "officially" done. But for now I'm just going to be very proud of myself and be able to say that I wrote a book in 25 days.
