While I didn't enjoy the experience (way too many screaming fangirls) I loved the movie. HBP might not have been a favorite book of my but this feels like the best movie so far. I loved the OotP movie but David Yates has really learned from his mistakes from that one. HPB is much smoother, has a better flow than OotP which felt choppy at times. I ( Read more... )

Yesterday I had a doctors appointment, which was basically a follow up to my last appointment. Apparently I have some sort of lump on my uterus. It doesn't have to be anything but the nurse said she couldn't dismiss and wanted a doctor to have a look at it. I know practically nothing about Thor and I've probably never read a comic that features him. But I'm so rooting for Alexander Skarsgård! :O

I've now seen Watchmen three times. I've caught references to the squid, seen Batman and Robin in the opening montage, caught a few "Tales of the Black Freighter" posters in the backgrounds, seen references to 300 and been disappointed with the wig Malin Åkerman wears too many times. 9:00: Went to an apartment display with my friend, who happens to be male and gay. The apartment could have been great, except that it was in desperate need of renovation. I just came back from seeing "Lars and the real girl" starring Ryan Gosling. I know the movie came out in like 2007 but it's only recently that it started showing in movie theaters around here (don't ask me why). I just saw Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Not going to comment much on the movie itself except that I thought that it was very good and the actors' performances were amazing. But seeing this movie in the movie theater felt kind of weird.
