I just saw Revolutionary Road with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Not going to comment much on the movie itself except that I thought that it was very good and the actors' performances were amazing. But seeing this movie in the movie theater felt kind of weird. People tended to laugh at what I thought were dramatic and sometimes very tragic moments. I love going to the movies, but sometimes that bothers me, as well as people sighing very loudly during the film.
Other films I've seen recently in the movies are Mammoth and Bride Wars. Mammoth was the better of those two, although it felt a lot like a light version of Babel and the first half dragged a little too much. Bride Wars... I cringed and squirmed in my seat because I thought it was embarrasingly bad. Why Anne Hathaway would take part of a movie like this is beyond me. Sometimes I feel grateful that I get free tickets from work and don't actually pay to go and see a movie.
