So, at last the internet has arrived (the modem finally got here two days after the service activated, and involved us stalking a UPS guy through the parking lot) and I feel caught up on financials and email for the first time in two weeks.

There are three weeks of school left. Ever. It still weirds me out. On the other hand, the stress of this quarter is certainly making the end of it all seem more appetizing. I am eager for the chance to sleep in and not be behind on projects. I really really really wish i had a few more weeks i the lab though.

So every year the company i work for runs a massive 8-week charity drive to collect moneys for the company's non-profit foundation. Every theater is owns 'sells' stars in exchange for a dollar donation, and all the donations go to the foundation, and the foundation redistributes the funds to about a dozen national charities including Make-A-Wish, ( Read more... )
