Six weeks after getting engaged and 3.5 months before my wedding, I realized I’ve been so busy planning a ceremony and a party that I haven’t given a lot of thought to the meaning of being a wife, as opposed to a girlfriend, for example, or even as opposed to a life partner, sharing a home with her man.

Spent most of yesterday in Tiberias attending a Shavuot celebration and a parents meeting at my sister's Group Home. The celebration part was mostly amusing. The residents sang a song and performed the sweetest holiday dance. Then they just hit the "dance floor" to the sounds of popular Israeli music.
