Independence Day. Ooof.
This has been a tough Independence Day.
The good: watching House episodes 1-4 of season 3 and the first Buffy episode of Season 1. Also, Tim made me download uTorrent, which may be a good thing for my general happiness.
The bad: too few people with flags on their cars/houses. It's sad to see how we're not proud of our country so much anymore. Instead of being sad, though, I should devote more time to local activism. It's the only cure I know for a sick society.
The ugly: spending today with my family and having to listen to how I "missed the train" of marriage and motherhood. Grrr, hmph. Bad headache now, but finally home. Will make some tea.
