I didn't mention in my last post (partly for lack of time, and partly because it slipped my mind) that the electrical problems in my car stopped happening. I mentioned a while back that after the surgery to replace the bulbs in the dash, the accessary devices (CLA, and stereo) didn't go off, even after removing the key. I discovered this morning and tonight, that I had apparently fucked up some minor bit of wiring when I was fucking around with the steering column. Now, when I turn the key to off (and even remove it) the radio and auxiliary electronics (like the cigarette lighter outlet's 12VDC output) don't go off.
