Based on azurelunatic's proposal, I've written a draft of a new FAQ to specifically address how to print entries, either using your own printer or by using Blurb.

The last sentence of FAQ 8 states "If you wish to move entries between accounts, you may be interested in renaming one of the accounts, importing entries from another journaling site or combining LiveJournals," and the words "combining LiveJournals" link to FAQ 199, which says "you can't combine two journals but here's how you update two journals ( Read more... )

FAQ 8 - downloading entries has "you may want to be interested in" in the last sentence. I think only half of that is supposed to be there.

There was a req on the board today about a non-user mom printing out her daughter's LiveJournal entries to make a scrapbook for her, and FAQ 8 says "Use the Lynx site scheme." However, ?usescheme=lynx doesn't override custom comment pages, nor does switching one's sitescheme to Lynx do so. But using ?format=light will. And it will do it in a way ( Read more... )

I suggest adding some text to FAQ #8 on exporting journal entries to the effect that

It is not possible to import this file into LiveJournal later.

(or "to import these entries into your or another LiveJournal account" or whatever), perhaps after the second paragraph (which starts "It is currently only possible"). Or maybe add a note after "they ( Read more... )
