A FAQ I'd like to see
I'd like to see a FAQ talking about how to add a widget to the journal. Since it can be done the same way as the counters are done, we could retitle FAQ 188 "How do I add a widget? How can I track visitors to my journal" and start with the general stuff first (widget must not have Javascript, etc.; these are all the ways you can add widget), then ( Read more... ) -

My guests feature is active, so I updated the FAQ which was talking about how you will soon be able to use this forthcoming feature. -
FAQ 282 Changing fonts
It would be nice to expand this FAQ to include changing the font color. It's a almost more commonly requested than the font size and face. It will need both the mention in the intro, and since not all layouts have the option for colors, the CSS section. It will need to link to the color codes guide in HowTo: faq282, status-resolved, cat-customizecustomized comment pages
It took me a surprisingly long time to find the faq on customized comment pages, and that's because it's really not linked much. Currently it's only linked in 47 "how do I add a memory", 114 "paid time expiration", and 156 "comment time zones".
At the very least, it should be added to: 62 "What are comments?" and 131 "Paid account benefits" (since ( Read more... )minor update to 169
169 (Link Lists) has been slightly tweaked- the FAQ title no longer mentions S2 (as it's in the S2 category, and the first line says so too), and the summary has been reworded, with a link to FAQ 7 instead of the howto that says "every s2 layout". :)proposed faqcat changes

I went to respond to a request from someone who is apparently confused by the whole issue of how to change their journal's style, and I'm wary of just referring them to FAQ 7 without a whole lot of handholding because the first paragraph is so sparsely written that it confused me.
