Youmacon was meh due to me haplessly trying to navigate the ren center and brave the clusterfuck that was con elevators. Shitty pictures were taken, no good cosplay pics for me. Well mostly clean. I still haven't gotten into the closet. I did however move a lot of furniture away from the walls and vacuum the remaining dust clumps and my stuffed animals. So as a quick update on life...I turned 24, went to a goofy FYE store meeting in which we drew piggies to determine what kind of person we were (I'm a realist =D), ran another successful (albeit crowded) anime event, and was hired at Select Italy. New classes seem cool so far. Machinima is going to be a blast. Javascript looks promising, Computer Illustration reminds me of 2D Imaging, only with drawing instead of photos. Japanese II is doable, a little more challenging than I was expecting, but not too overwhelming. Tomorrow I've got to skip out from Javascript early to go to the Internship ( Read more... )

Well in 8 hours or so from now anyway...I'm going in a frenzy trying to paint my nails for Deidara cosplay so that they'll be dry in time for tomorrow. I have such terrible luck with nail polish not drying properly. For anyone else it will dry in five minutes but for me it takes hours, and that's with very thin, even coats.
