Cautiously Optimistic....

New classes seem cool so far. Machinima is going to be a blast. Javascript looks promising, Computer Illustration reminds me of 2D Imaging, only with drawing instead of photos. Japanese II is doable, a little more challenging than I was expecting, but not too overwhelming. Tomorrow I've got to skip out from Javascript early to go to the Internship meeting so I can get job experience.

Still waiting to hear from S.O.C. Where the anime club is going to be able to meet. I'm pretty optimistic about our club events so far this semester, I'm hoping things don't go down the crapper. I started a forum for the club, I wanted a blog, but a forum is just as good. There's another Anime day up at FYE this sunday, so I've gotta make a run to Mitsuwa this saturday for goodies.

I'm pretty impressed with Acen's website so far. http://acen.org/ It actually looks good. D: Apparently computers going down weren't the only thing fucking over acen registration last year. Half the registration staff just didn't show up. At all. So Acen's desperate for people willing to work registration for 24hrs over the weekend, in shifts of course...as well as being on call in case additional help is required. I'm really curious to see how this is going to pan out...

I've got my room for Otakon 09, possibly 7 people tops, all people I know who won't cause major grief...well I can't account for geron since he's a muffinhead. Can't argue, 7 people would be about $75 for the weekend. Which is epic, but that's not accounting for the likely $130-$140 in airfare. Tavi and his girlfriend are planning to drive up there, cuz they're all up for the prospect of the roadtrip, but the rest of us...not so much. I'll probably get my airfare tickets around late january early february when southwest announces their flights for July.

otakon, school, acen
