The first day of a new year. I haven't even been outside, but that's fine. We didn't get home until after 2 am last night, and I slept hard, waking around 9:30, though I didn't get up right away. Almost no one is writing anymore. Apart from John and June, I seem to be alone out here. Even Chuck has disappeared. I hope it's temporary; there are already so few people blogging these days. While I was watering the houseplants today, I found another butterfly sitting in a window. There's no telling how long he'd been inside...we haven't had doors or windows open in weeks, but he was sitting very still, hidden behind a succulent in the living room window. Ahhh...what is there to write about? My life seems to be sliding along. It's already the end of April, and I continue to boggle at how quickly the time goes. Is there a word for thoughts so random that they defy the category of randomness? I feel like I have butterflies in my head.
