I am really obsessing over Banned Books Week this year, and I don't know why!

This map had a hand in it--and this is just the last two years. I can't believe how many books I LOVE are on this list!

I don’t care if it was effin irresponsible; this weekend I went home with Hira and didn’t bring a scrap of homework. No Magazine Design prospectus about circulation and cost of mailing. No review of the Milwaukee Ballet’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Nothing, and it was fabulous.

First stop this morning: Downtown Books. Ohhh, books. No matter how many times I tell myself to spend less, just use the libraries I live so close to... Buying clothes, entertainment, cosmetics, etc. feels like spending money. Buying books and food feels like... nothing.
