• Gym three times this week, again. I'm really happy I've been able to keep it up. With the heart rate monitor, I'm also noticing that I've been able to exercise more strenuously before I reach my target HR.

• Went to the gym twice, using my new heart rate monitor (a Christmas gift from Nicole). Stuck to just cardio, and was discouraged by how little effort I have to make to zip my heart rate up. Not like that wasn't initially expected, though, since I'd fallen into a long, bad habit of getting zero exercise.

• Now that the holidays are winding down, got busy again on house projects. Made progress in the master bedroom by reinstalling the big closet doors. Always a relief when they actually close into the frame. Need to paint and re-install the little closet door and the main door, and we can move in there and set up the other ( Read more... )

Thursday:

• Nicole and I met a law school buddy and his wife who are visiting his folks in Albany and took them to Gravy for breakfast

Dinner with Erin, Betsy, and Steve at Autentica. The margaritas were yummy, and Betsy won hands down with the flatiron steak.
