LOL, oh man. So, since I've reached an impasse with the gingerbread quilt, I decided I'd take on doing the shop sample for one of the gorgeous new lines of fabric we just got in. The pattern is really, really simple except for the fact that you have to cut your fabric length of fabric instead of width of fabric. For those who don't quilt, fabric ( Read more... ) -
Gingerbread City Quilt
It's not great lighting, because I took the picture outside and it was cloudy. And this is only the center of the quilt. I still have to do the borders, and for that I have to wait for the two red marbles I ordered from Kaufman to arrive (right now they're telling me mid-February), but I'm really, really pleased with how this is turning out!

I am in a horrible, grumpy mood today. I had to seriously bite my tongue this morning to keep from writing some hard truths to a family member on Facebook.
