Hello community!

I'm going to Copenhagen for a semester next month. I don't spean Danish yet but my Norwegian is pretty good and my Icelandic is okay, so when reading Danish is really okay for me. A few facts:

1. In H.C. Andersen's The Snow Queen, first published in 1845, the robber maiden says "Schnipp-schnapp-schnurre-basselurre," as if making a magic spell.
