"Wait, I just thought of something...is your boyfriend balding?"
I finally finished the problem set today! Oh my goodness, it was hard. I don't know why though, once I got done, I was like...oh, that's pretty simple. I think the biggest problem was that I was paying attention to significant figures, like what Calvin told us to do in class. Turns out I really needed to extend the numbers a lot, not round them. Sigh. I blame that on Calvin...but he was so nice and patient with me with all the questions I had and my inability to understand or think about it.
In my office ours, a girl came in to make up the lab she missed. She had the hardest time understanding something as simple (to me of course) the rock cycle. It didn't even occur to me that that could be a difficult concept to apply to the rocks. But for her it was, and I used this amazing analogy of flour and water and baking. It really helped her a lot, and I am glad.
I didn't do much else today. I spinned at spinning class, even though I was tired, it felt good and I enjoyed myself. I think Johnny, the instructor, wants to talk to me, but I wear the same excersize outfit everytime I go, twice a week, and I do not wash it in between. So, yes, I do smell, and it's not the most attractive outfit either. It's my loose baggy black pants that started out too long on me, and now are like flood pants. I don't understand it at all. The other girls are more fit, have cuter hair (not dirty and in a bandana, b/c I purposely don't shower the day I excersize b/c I know I am going ot have to afterwards), and they wear skin tight excersize shorts that emphasize their butts while they pedal. Some of them even get so hot and sweaty they have to take off their shirts, and finish the class in just their sports bras. Johnny talks to those girls the most...not so much to me. But he's trying. Maybe someday soon, in two months, when I have money again, I'll get myself some cute excersize shorts.
Did I tell you that Jizzy, my squirrel friend is officially a male squirrel? Well he is. I know b/c I saw his balls. He ate a walnut and dropped its pieces all over my porch.
Do you know who I think is cute? Steve Colbert. He's so funny and silly, and he can't help but smile b/c he's always laughing at himself. I like people who can make themselves laugh. He also reminds me of Josh a little bit, but it's hard to describe how. I am going to attribute it to the smile though. And do you know who my favorite reporter is watch be made fun of? Geraldo. I remember watching his show and being sooooo bored when I was little. It amazes me that he is still around. Once out in the feild Calvin and Nick, this guy who was showing us around, got in discussion about a guy named Geraldo, and I thought they actually meant Geraldo, but I was wrong. But whatever it was they were talking about, Calvin severly disaproved (I know amazing right?) and he kept on muttering to himself "blah blah Geraldo blah".
