(no subject)
Oh Man what a week. I end each day frustrated, close to tears, and in need of drugs of all kinds. I then work all evening on my school work, and then dream about it all night. It's never ending! And do you know what I am working on? Problem Set 4 for Calvin. I spent all day yesterday and today on 2 questions. I have two left...with 2 parts to each one. I am trying to do it myself and wait to the last min. to ask people/Calvin for help. And it's no fun at all. I don't know if I am learning anything or not. I think i am, but then when ihave to do the same thing but slightly different for the next problem, I have NO IDEA what I am doing. i can't even begin to explain it to you. I am manipulating isotope ratios...to learn something.. not sure what at all.
I don't want to think about that for right now. Instead I'll tell you about the second best thing that happened today...I finally finished entering in all my data into my XTREME excel file. All I have to do is some slight fixing it ups and spellchecking it tomorrow, then i can email it to Calvin and Guil!!! YES I ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING! Yeah I kick ass.
Now the best part of my day. It made me laugh harder than I can ever remember laughing in an incredibly long time...and even though it may have been childish and rude of me, I couldn't wait to laugh later out of site, I had to laugh right away. Sarah, John and I ate outside today, and when we were leaving Sarah and John went to through their garbage away. A very very serious guy with slicked back black hair and a black blazer over a white shirt...very sauve and stand off-ish, and artsy (I was studying him intently while I was waiting for them), was sitting next to the garbage basket. Sarah through her paper stuffs away, and then tried to toss her huge apple core in, and it bounced off the top and hit the guy in multiple places, including his hand. I laughed instantly...I couldn't keep it inside. We laughed all the way back to the department, and it was wonderful.
JOSH IS HOME!!!! FINALLY!!!!
