The well pump's been broken since Friday. No water. It's easy to take water for granted until it doesn't come out of the faucet. Life continues apace. Nothing earth-shattering. Work is still work, kids are still kids, dating life is still spiffy and I am still broke. I talked to 2 friends I haven't heard from in a while, marivice and millarca, and both would like to get together soon for dinner. And Millarca lives much closer to me now. Yay. :)

Also, Other Pet Chain™ in DK called and wants to interview me next week. If they offer the same money and hours I am so there, because this half-hour each way commute is ridiculous.

Kicked butt. Manager wants me to start as soon as I clear the pee test. She must have been all of 19, I swear. I just hope this doesn't screw up my schedule too much. Hopefully I can get mostly days and the kiddies will all want night hours.

Went and applied for more benefits from the gummint today, and then applied at Furst Staffing, B&BW and Lowe's.

I have a pot of homemade ham and bean soup simmering on the stove, and it already smells like the BEST THING EVAR. omnomnomnom. And I have leftover crusty roasted garlic bread for croutons. We may be po', but we will eat well tonight.
