snowpocalypse 2011
Got the snowblower gassed up and working and one pass done on the driveway. Got groceries and salt. Alas, I also still have to go into work tomorrow morning. I can't believe it.
Made a perfect snowy day dinner--lambchops braised low and slow with mushrooms, mirepoix, mole and an aromatic home-canned marinara seasoned with cumin, cardamom, Penzey's Bangkok Blend and grains of paradise; and a side of mushroom and pea pilaf.
Also made a blizzard mix cd, or at least half-made one. I'm still tweaking the track order. If I get a chance I'll post it tomorrow.
