Hello Outside World

It may seem as if I've abandoned this here journal, but I absolutely have not. Since my life is revolving around healing from having neurosurgery multiple times this year, that is the most popular subject of my entries. Secondly, I write back and forth to my doctors and nurses and will copy the correspondence here in my journal. I also copy emails between myself and friends who have Trigeminal Neuralgia and friends who are lucky enough to not have TN who are helping me through this recovery. The correspondence I have kept private of course along with a lot of the medical information, since so much is going on. Hence, the appearance of an abandoned journal.

The "Restructuring Dysesthesia", is still horrible, but I'll be at the 5 month mark on Dec 23rd.

Last night I actually did something fun. Rachael aka rachraff, Kevin and I went out for a bit. I was really scared at first as I had yet to go outside since the temperature has hit 32 degrees. I thought my face would just instantly freak out and kill me. I got lucky because it was about to snow and there was absolutely no wind at all. Anyway, we went to see some punk bands. "The Keefs" played; I've been friends with two of the members for many years. All the members of "Odd Squad" came to the show just to hang out. It was nice to spend some time with Rach and catch up a bit. It was a good time and it helped take my mind off the pain here and there.

I just cooked some really good chicken noodle soup, Pennsylvania Dutch style...
