So cute! I like the reading-into-tea-sets-too-much-oh-well-let's-just-snog mentality. Yum =)

I haven't the faintest why, but I actually loved this line: "If it wasn’t for the fact that it makes James happy to bring her here, like he’s accomplished something just by having a girlfriend to bring to this place - although Lily will admit it, she’s also got a thing for those pomegranate cakes - she’d already be tugging on his arm and begging to leave."

Nice work! =)

Oh, you know James would totally indulge in all the ridiculous couply stuff he used to mock with his friends - just because he's got Lily and he can.

Thank you. ♥

It’s not like he hasn’t had seven years of borderline obsessiveness to catalogue these things, but - still. It's hot.

HAHA that's so true - I can easily imagine this being accurate. And I like the title if I just imagine the Glee kids singing it /I'm such a Gleek :P Nice job!

Title: Proud
Author/Artist: beedaily

Rating & Warnings: PG-13, language.
Summary: An unfortunate wager finds James playing waiter at Puddifoot's.

Really, he should know better by now than to wager with Sirius.

"Welcome to Puddifoot's. What can I get you?"

Someone clears their throat. Up until now, James has maintained a strict policy of keeping his eyes trained on his notepad to avoid the humiliation of actual eye contact. But at this light hemming sound-this familiar, light hemming sound-his gaze darts up automatically. He very much regrets the impulse when he meets the amused emeralds staring back at him, and even more so when he sees the blighter seated across from her ( ... )

Oh my God, this was fantastic... no wonder Bertram wound up with his head inflated ;) I can't wait to read more of your drabbles, because both of yours so far have been incredible! James' actions seemed so in-character, and when Lily joined him in the end it was perfect, not too mushy but still really sweet <3

I figure Bertram's inflating happened not-too-long from here, no? ;D

Glad you enjoyed! I think I might literally just sit and drabble all day long if there were prompts enough. Which is why it's probably a good thing that these are spaced out. Though I still drabble way too much, with or without them. *headdesk* =D

STAG – [Fic; PG] Romance Doesn’t Equate to Paper Mache Hearts, by MissGoalie75 missgoalie75 March 28 2011, 02:07:05 UTC
Title: Romance Doesn’t Equate to Paper Mache Hearts
Author: MissGoalie75
Team: Stag!
Rating & Warnings: PG, mentions of drinking
Summary: To say that Lily despises this teashop is a bit of an understatement.

Over the years, many guys, thinking Lily would enjoy it like every other desperate girl, have brought Lily to Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop for Valentine’s Days, first dates, and anniversaries.

To say that Lily despises this teashop is a bit of an understatement. It’s really pink, which clashes terribly with her hair and those flying cupids are so creepy and she’s pretty sure one flashed her in Fourth Year.

Ever since that incident, she’s managed to put her foot down on a number of occasions. But some guys (like stupid Taylor McNair) don’t really take no for an answer.

So she really doesn’t understand why she’s allowed herself to fall in love and start dating James Potter, who is the worst example of that mindset.

And here they are, a week before Valentine’s Day and of course it falls perfectly on a Hogsmeade weekend. Lily’s bracing herself ( ... )

*snort* Snuggle bunny sweetheart. Sweetie pumpkin pie. Oh, priceless.

I think I had as much fun reading this as James and Lily will have on their sabotage date. =D

Title: A Place Called Desolation
Author/Artist: museme87
Team: Stag
Rating & Warnings: PG | off-screen character death, war
Summary: One morning you wake up to find you're living someone else's life; only later do you find out it's your own.

James comes home to the smell of something burning.

His heart clenches in his chest so tightly it might burst altogether under the pressure. It's a miracle, then, that he manages a full sprint into the kitchen, fearing the worst-always fearing the worst these days. What he finds is not ruin-no charred walls or dead Lily. No, his home is not broken-not to that degree, not yet ( ... )

Day-um, H. You took that frilly pink concoction and gave us something so achingly sad and intense. One of the challenges of this round is to do something different and unexpected, and you've truly delivered on that accoutn - I love this particular take on the prompt. Even the stuffiness of Madam Puddifoot's would just be part and parcel of the nostalgic Hogwarts bubble, and of course Lily and James would yearn for it (while determinedly resolving to take it back). Very bittersweet, very nicely done!
