Title: Romance Doesn’t Equate to Paper Mache Hearts

Summary: To say that Lily despises this teashop is a bit of an understatement.

Over the years, many guys, thinking Lily would enjoy it like every other desperate girl, have brought Lily to Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop for Valentine’s Days, first dates, and anniversaries.

To say that Lily despises this teashop is a bit of an understatement. It’s really pink, which clashes terribly with her hair and those flying cupids are so creepy and she’s pretty sure one flashed her in Fourth Year.

Ever since that incident, she’s managed to put her foot down on a number of occasions. But some guys (like stupid Taylor McNair) don’t really take no for an answer.

So she really doesn’t understand why she’s allowed herself to fall in love and start dating James Potter, who is the worst example of that mindset.

And here they are, a week before Valentine’s Day and of course it falls perfectly on a Hogsmeade weekend. Lily’s bracing herself ( ... )

This was adorable! I especially like the names - sweetie pumpkin pie, heeee! I like this particular twist. I really don't think either Lily or James would have patience with a place like Puddifoot's. *g* Thanks for sharings this!
