Zechs looks with distaste at the file sitting on his desk. He's already dressed in full uniform, though his jacket is partially unzipped, revealing the khaki t-shirt beneath. A small duffle containing extra clothing and toiletries sits on his sofa. He's already made arrangements with his next-door neighbor to take care of Andromeda and Josephine.
A sigh escapes him as he reviews the mission once more before gathering his duffle and exiting his apartment. He locks the door, double-checks it, then crosses the short distance of hallway. He raises his hand and knocks lightly on the door, shaking his long blond hair back out of his face. He knows this will be the first Yuy hears of their assignment.
He is going to kill Une if it's the last thing he does.
