Zechs looks with distaste at the file sitting on his desk. He's already dressed in full uniform, though his jacket is partially unzipped, revealing the khaki t-shirt beneath. A small duffle containing extra clothing and toiletries sits on his sofa. He's already made arrangements with his next-door neighbor to take care of Andromeda and Josephine ( Read more... )

Since Heero has not heard heads or tails of this yet, he's not in a sour mood when he opens the door. He's merely... surprised, to say the least, to see Zechs behind it.

Even if Heero was tempted to drag his feet, he wouldn't let himself; there's a difference between being annoyed at someone outside of work, and letting it affect your work. He's too professional for that.

"Did she give any explaination for this decision?" Heero asks, as he heads to pack.

Zechs leans against the doorframe, close enough to see and hear Yuy but not entering his subordinate's private space. The grudging bit of respect he has prevents that.

'None. It's a fairly standard mission, clearing weapons out of an old OZ munitions factory. You'll have enough time to read over the file during the flight. We've been granted clearance for a Preventers-issued shuttle.'
