On IDs for Internet Use
IDs are required for many things nowadays: flying on an airline, purchasing cigarettes, entering certain bars, receiving back chemistry exams.
I wonder why it is that IDs are not required for many Internet sites. I think this would be good for many reasons.

On Siestas
Why don't we have these in this country? They make so much sense. Whenever there is food in my stomach I want to nap. This is a natural thing I think. Would I not be able to work more effectively without a huge weight in my stomach after eating, without dozing off at the NMR or while reading a journal article at my desk.
