Why do the veterinarians take your pet 'to the back'?

Welp, I seem to be on the mend *knocks on wood* Not nearly 100%, but definitely getting there :D Now off to work. My main goal today is to catch up on the mountain of dirty laundry threatening to engulf our clinic...

I called a client this morning to confirm his dogs' spay and neuter appointments, and he told me they were both dead. Someone poisoned them last Sunday. They died Monday night. D: It's so awful! I couldn't imagine how sad and angry I'd be if someone poisoned my fuzzy critters *shudders*

When Tori learned that I was born in NH, she called me a damn Yankee carpetbagger. It made me giggle.

Hoo boy, am I beat! Not entirely sure why; work wasn't especially busy today, though we did have some interesting cases. I might post about them tomorrow. Now, however, is time to relax and watch TV with my critters =^_^=
