The thing that really confuses me about houses in Massachusetts is that the light switches for bathrooms are always out in the hall, never in the bathroom itself. Weird. And inconvenient when someone *cough*Mark*cough* decides to be a smart alec and cut off the light while you're in there >.< lol

After a crazy good day that took me from an awesome prayer experience atop a mountain overlooking the Shenandoah Valley at dawn to contemplating the parable of the sower and the seed while digging away in my veggie garden to shepherding a couple of crazy kids on an adventure around our little town at dusk, I thought this was the perfect prayer to ( Read more... )

My cousin Sarah is at St Mary's Hospital, and they just rushed her in for an emergency c-section. Please join me in praying for both her and little Taven!

Mom just texted me: "The nurses just told us he is healthy and cute as a button. Now we wait to see him." Sarah's doing well, too. :D

So I've been praying about this, and I've decided that for Advent I'm going to abstain from using the computer except for ministry-related things (preparing talks, posting devotionals, etc).
