I took Lex on a morning walk, then did a lots of chores: picked up the trash in the yard, turned the compost, swept the steps, put away my laundry(!), cleared off my desk and table, washed the dishes, straightened the bookshelves, cleaned the bathroom, and swept the whole house ( Read more... ) -

One of my mom’s friends made a normal post on facebook about getting prepped for Sandy. Cool, we should all be prepped in case it’s as bad as they’re predicting.

Hey guys, Precious isn't doing well at all. A few weeks ago we tentatively diagnosed her with cancer. She's been going downhill steadily for a while now, but yesterday she stopped eating and drinking (she won't even eat her favorite treats), and when I gave her water via syringe, she just vomited it back up. I survived my first day of Sunday School! :-D
There were no fatalities ;-)
But seriously, I think it went well. After we went over the boring paperwork they needed to get their parents to fill out, we played 2 Truths and a Lie, which was a big hit :-) Also Fr. McKay danced into the classroom, said hi, and danced back out lol
