Yesterday was the last day for students in my class.  I still have mountains of paperwork and organizing and meetings over the next few weeks.  We had a Choose Your Own Marble Party so students came dressed as raccoons and pirates and knights and a punk rock skeleton.  We played and snacked and ate popsicles and I sent them on their way to the next ( Read more... )

Yesterday was teacher appreciation in my world.  At inservice meetings, we were served strawberries and raspberries and pound cake.  Parents donated to purchase a patio set so teachers could use the deck.  A certified massage therapist gave free ten minute massages.  And the meetings passed so smoothly . . .
