My computer is back, with a brand new motherboard.  Good news--they didn't have to wipe my harddrive, so I don't need to reconstruct anything.  Just a bit of patch-up work.  I still have all my music!

Slightly worse news, Justin's having trouble with our cobbled-together desktop.  But I have faith he will prevail.

So, my computer died.  My brand new, three month old laptop.  Just shut down randomly, wouldn't restart or even think about restarting.  Justin took bits of it apart; we cleaned the fan and put it back together.  Then when we tried to restart it it kind of fizzled and smelled like burning circuits.  Today we took it back to BestBuy (bullshit), and ( Read more... )
