I am turning into my older sister (In Korea, age is very important and all of a sudden I distinguish between my older and younger sisters...though not usually between Jean and Christine, who are both younger)...

Anyway, I just got up in the middle of the night to make grilled oysters with garlic and paprika. Mmm protein.

So, I don't really know how many of you know this, but:

I've accepted a job offer in Seoul, South Korea, and will be leaving the United States in early August. I'll be gone for a year, maybe two. I'll probably be coming back for Christmas ( Read more... )

Eeek! I didn't have to work today, so Jason and I had breakfast together (sausage-spinach-tomato omelettes and english muffins with strawberry jam, and irish breakfast tea. AND! So, Liz and I decided, in honor of Thanksgiving and our food share, which has provided us with an abundance of squash, that November would be Buy No Food Month. I am fully convinced that one of the best things in the world is opening the fridge, expecting to see nothing but vegetables and a little goat cheese, and instead finding a BUCKET OF FRIED CHICKEN! woohoo!

Me: And I ate a piece and I was so happy I washed all the dishes.
