This morning, everyone on a certain mailing list at Pitt got spammed from hell and back by people asking to be removed. Apparently "Pitt"-as in the shortened name of my university that gets put on just about every piece of merchandise ever made for it-is a slang term for penis in Swedish.

Which means that my school e-mail can be interpreted as [REDACTED]@penis.edu. Which means the university's url is www.penis--Yeah, not gonna finish typing that.

...was absolutely amazing. There were so many people there! Most of them had come over from the Open Mic Night next door to get free drinks, but a couple actually stuck around until it was over! I got an A- in Swedish! /o/ I am not a complete failure with the language!

Finally registered today after all the mess with loans and scholarships. Now to (Hopefully not) do it all over it again next semester!

I have a Swedish project tomorrow about Swedish Christmas traditions. I got Julvisor/Julsång, which means I get to sing and dance! I've got the singing down, but I am uncoordinated as hell. Every time I print something out in the Pitt computer labs, I get a cover sheet with my username on it that tells me which document I've printed out and how many sheets of paper I have left in my quota. For the most part, students chuck these sheets into the recycle bin because they've really no use for them ( Read more... )
