I had an interview this morning out in Chatham. Vocational Instructor is the job title, and what the instructors at this place do is help injured workers upgrade their skills so that they are able to secure alternate employment while they're healing. I did try to write that hockey fic about Raycroft and Stajan fishing on their day off in Florida, a few weeks ago. I didn't get very far, but the opening scene saw Hal Gill, who is a relatively huge beast of a man (6'7" 250), sitting on Raycroft and singing "Wake Up Suzy" in an attempt to encourage the goalie to get out of bed and out onto the bus ( Read more... )

I don't know if you've figured it out by now, but I am unbelievably bitter about this whole love trapezoid (not mine, but I like it, so I've nicked it) fiasco on The Office. ( in which I repeat myself and express what could be interpreted as anti-Jim sentiments )

Jake Gyllenhaal hosted SNL last night and I had no idea. BOO to me. Recently-promoted Kris Newbury gets first NHL goal as Leafs defeat Bruins 5-1Apparently the NHL does not rest for New Year's Day. Boo to me for missing the game.
