I did try to write that hockey fic about Raycroft and Stajan fishing on their day off in Florida, a few weeks ago. The Pittsburgh Penguins are good. Soulless, but good.* I think Sidney Crosby sold his soul to the Devil at a crossroads just outside of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia for the ability to play hockey like The Great One.
