My main excuse is work. I've had almost a complete staff turnover in the last six weeks. Thus, I've been averaging 60-70 hour work weeks and then being too exhausted to do much else. The Upside of Pneumonia? Several people have told me I look thinner. However, with all the steroids I'm STILL taking (4 more days) I'm all bloated and feel like a human water bottle. Yay for stress and pneumonia inducing weight loss. Umm. I guess? I'd still rather not have had pneumonia.

Biggest news from me right now is that I am being honored friday night at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event at Bellarmine College. This is a twelve hour event from 6pm to 6am, where teams raise money and promise to have a team member walking a race track at all times. so clearly, it involves staying up all night or camping out. first off, sorry for the lack of updates. saw my doc last week, and he literally told me to "party on." tonight i went to my first ever poker night. it made me feel very adult. well, not really. but it was a lot of fun. honestly, i didn't even know that there were that many different kinds of poker. i had a blast. and i only lost $1.85 total. it could have been much worse. at one point i was out $6. i think that i might join them again next month.
