A owl has found his way to my house yet again! It was cooing at my dogs in the backyard. Speaking of backyard my giant photinia shrub caught a nasty fungal disease and all its leaves either fell off or died. Thanksgiving is almost here! Tomorrow I'm heading over to my parents place to help clean things up for Thursday. The grandkids will be over so my Mom will have a hard time cleaning around them so I will help tag team them and straighten things up. So thanks to the hurricane moving through we received a lot of rain over the weekend. Lots of great thunderstorms and cooler weather. We went to a festival on Saturday despite the rain and I ended up buying a silver and blue ring with my name engraved and dyed blue around it. So I've nearly gotten used to my new hours on second shift.  In some ways it's very similiar to third shift because I still have my mornings free to do things in town or around the house.  The difference is my work and sleep schedule has switched. So I had work tonight, but couldn't make it down my little farm to market road. When I had woken up earlier I looked outside to check the weather. Yesterday was beautiful! The snow from Wednesday had melted and the sun shone! This morning we have more snow. I wouldn't mind except I have to go to work tonight. Bummer.
