This morning I was up early and made coffee then turned the tv on to the parades. My breakfast ended up a bit on the burnt side, but some was still edible. Thanksgiving is almost here! Tomorrow I'm heading over to my parents place to help clean things up for Thursday. The grandkids will be over so my Mom will have a hard time cleaning around them so I will help tag team them and straighten things up. I just realized something.  Thanksgiving... a time to give thanks to God for the blessings of the year; good food, warm clothes, family, being together, etc.  What better place to begin Thanksgiving than in Church?  Yes, I will be missing the Macy's parade, but they talk far too much and show more of those two news reporters than the actual floats ( Read more... )

  I refuse to buggy down to any Christmas songs untill after Thanksgiving (with the exeption of the chipmunks yesterday, but who can blame me?).   That goes for Christmas shopping too.  It will wait.. preferable after Black Friday.
