*Sigh* Another horrible season for Mirvish. They announced the 2017-2018 season productions and, quite truthfully, there is not one play I want to see. I wasn't impressed with Stratford's or Hart House Theatre's playbill for 2017 either. Please, at least make an effort to get Something Rotten for 2018-2019! While there are several promising concerts on deck with TSO next year, the 2016-2017 season is not exactly a banner year for Mirvish or the National Ballet of Canada. I have zero interest in any of the plays on Mirvish’s 2016-2017 agenda with a notable exception for Cabaret…and even that I do not NEED to see. Just back from seeing the Hart House Theatre production of Into The Woods. Granted, Jesus Christ Superstar was HHT's greatest production EVER, this play definitely ran a close second. Fox has greenlit a remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. OK overall I think this is a very bad idea but I love Rocky Horror so much that I truly can’t wait to see it.
