Watched Catching Fire today. It turned out to be as good as expected (in other words, mediocre) with a couple of bonuses. First - Jena Malone as Johanna Mason. The summer has vanished far too quickly. I'm trying to remember everything I did but really, it wasn't that much. I wish I hadn't started my new job until now. I would have liked to have had the summer off. Oh well. What do I remember most about this summer, hmm...let's see.

I finished my reread of The Hunger Games in preparation for watching the movie on Sunday. I'm halfway through Catching Fire...I stopped literally at the halfway point at the very first mention of the the name "Finnick" and plan on reading the very best part of the series, the second half of the second book remainder later today.

Seriously I'd rather watch this version of The Hunger Games than the real one...Snow as Katniss, Gold as Haymitch, Graham and David as Gale and Peeta...oh geez, brilliant. Can we make Belle Rue? Too bad it wasn't Catching Fire...you know where I'm going with this...Prince Charming got nothing on Finnick Odair.
