Another library book sale. The selection was a bit better and I found six books and five cds.

There is such a thing as too many vampire books.

After 24 in a row, my brain decided it really wanted to read something else. Thankfully, I have some humerous fantasy I've been itching to get to.

Today was my local library's spring book sale. :D
And they'd raised the price of paperbacks to $0.50 :/
And the selection was rather anemic. :(

Only ended up spending four dollars for five books.

The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley (I remember hearing good things about this. Then again, I heard the same about Sunshine.)

Received an advanced reader copy of a book today. It warns me on the front, back, and inside that this is an "Uncorrected Proof" and may contain parts that won't be in the final version. Sounds great. An early look at a book that... came out in it's final form yesterday. :/

I'm thinking a December giveaway would have made more sense for this book.

Spent $13.50 for 24 books at library book sale. :D
Then had to walk home carrying them. :(
Clearly, I have to learn to teleport by the next one.

It has a cover price of $3.75, and it's a hardcover.

I just borrowed Game of Thrones, Season 1 from the library today. It came with a booklet that has, as well as a episode list, a map and little pictoral family trees. Unless they cut a lot of characters from later seasons, these could get a little unwieldy, even with GRRM's determined character pruning.
