With the icy conditions (you in the US Midwest can freely laugh at what we in the DC area refer to as "Icy conditions"), we have unplanned leave in effect today. So I'll be "working from home."

Coffee's on and I'm connected to the office. It's like I've gone in an hour and a half early - except for the fuzzy fleece pajamas with a snowflake

We actually did get the forecasted snow.

1. My hair insists on standing on end.

2. The static electricity I generate will actually cause the compact fluoresent bulb to glow dimly when I reach for the light switch on the lamp. (Tell me that's not freaky.)

3. You hear crackling and an "OWWW!" when I touch anything conductive
