Is flourless dark chocolate waffles with coffee ice cream for brunch.

It could have just as easily been 2 eggs, scrambled in butter, and coffee with cream and a dollop of chocolate syrup, but where's the magic in that?

They don't come out with Limited Edition Kisses and Nuggets except at holidays and no body will get hurt.

Today's haul from my drug store run: Milk Chocolate Coconut Creme filled Kisses.

I mean, it's summer, right?

No candy holiday in sight. Halloween candy's not due on the shelf at least until the end of August.

So what do I find on on my way to the cash register?

I stopped by the hardware store tonight to buy a new waffle iron just so I could bake flourless chocolate waffles.

The things are basically flourless brownies - eggs, butter, cocoa and sugar.

Pure decadence.

Add scoops of coffee ice cream and I'm in heaven.

I went out to lunch today today to Coastal Flats for an early birthday lunch with my officemate. I had their Flourless Warm Chocolate Waffle with Ice Cream and Toasted Almonds.
